French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam organized the « La Semaine Francaise » from April of 6 to 11, 2008. The Gala Dinner at White Palace on April 9, 2008 was the diamond of the crown in this week.

Guests had a chance to enjoy many special French dishes and discovered particular cuisine’s knowledge of this country as well. Henri Charvet and Gerard Royan, the excellent representatives had came from Euro-Toques , the biggest European association up to more than 400 chefs, created the fantastic dinner with assistance of French chefs in Vietnam, Didier Courlou, Sakhal Phuong and Gerard Taurin- MOF. It was so great in aperitif guests enjoyed the foie gras, one of the French famous course. The party was more perfect with special courses and  unique  cooking methods, coordinated creative garnishing style such as Pave Bar, aubergine caviar, Medallion of Calf, chese Brie of Meaux, … 

The fashion show of « On Aura Tout Vu » was the central point of the night. On Aura Tout Vu, the famous designer, go along with  some other famous people of fashion field came from France and Vietnamese designers (Cong Tri...) presented their collections which were performed by Vietnamese and international super models. In addition to The singer Lidia Martinez, the dancer Dominique Boivin, offered  guests more enjoyable and amazing night.

The exceptional item of this night was the conversation of French foothball stars such as Christian Karembeu, Jane Djorkaeff, Bernard Diomede, Daniel Bravo, Dominique Rocheteau, Coach Michel Hidalgo, …It was a precious chance to meet and interview them.
